Yes it is extremely broken but it also counts leaving due to connection issues, and being booted for betrayals all together as voluntary quits. Meh
Since 343 is all but ignoring Halo Reach at this point the most we can hope for is a better system in Halo 4 (although with the number of issues with this website it doesn’t look promising).
I have been banned for other people quitting the game, but heard 343 doesn’t care at all since you’re just one customer. Your only option unless you have friends in high places is to just deal with it.
The warning lasts for seventy two hours before it disappears so if you quit a game during that time period, you’ll be banned and it’ll last another seventy two hours.
Also, being booted for betraying a team mate counts as a quit.

Yeah they don’t seem to mind those who manipulate the connections etc do they? I actually wanted to start a thread asking how myself could cheat since 343 obviously allows it to be done now.

What about the TU Elite Slayer Multi team match on your service record? Looks like you and your team quit that one.
Looks to be a few others that you quit out of as well. All of them are in Multi Team.
Please take note of this;
If someone invites you to a game while you are in one, and you accept the invite, that counts as a quit.

what should really happen as it makes everyone happy is an defeat button in mid-to last game option. Like say its 100 to 1 and you have 1 minute left, why not just admit defeat…I thought of that as its on Duel Network and helps with everything…

So how do you explain the Multi Team matches in which you and your teammates did nothing? I counted 3 of them on the first page of your game history. THis means you either quit, or you were AFK. Either one of those will get you banned.
3? I only spotted one and the one Im spotted the game never started. All teams got 0.
Either way I never got a warning until i logged on today. There is no incentive to stay in unfair games if I’m gonna get banned anyway.
I’m 100% sure if you look into my history you will see just how commited to not quitting I am.
I see 1 RocketHog match in which there WERE kills made. But, your team had NOTHING. Then there’s 2 Elite Slayer matches in which you and your team had no kills, or anything.
Don’t lie bro. We can ALWAYS find out what you have been up to.

So you still haven’t explained what the deal is with those matches. Once you explain those, I think you’d have your answer.
Or don’t you want to own up to the fact that you, and your buddies went AFK.
Perhaps you left a controller on and not playing. I have seen many people get credit banned for that.

If you get booted from the game due to betrayals it does Not count against the quit ban. If you dashboard, quit, lag out…etc all of that DOSE count.
If you betray too many times, you will be betrayal banned though.

I found the games in question and those games I did indeed Dashboard. Reason being all my ‘team mates’ quit and why would I want to play by myself?
Anywho to address the claim, no I did not go ‘AFK’.

Just for future refence you actually don’t have to attack everyone that comes on asking a ban related question. Just saying.

It sucks when that happens, but your best bet is to simply go through the game, then try again. I’ve had it happen a few times and it does seem to Drag on forever, but there’s not realy anything you can do about it.
And when it comes to those who trolled you, does that really surprise you that they did?
I know. I think the guys suggestion of a ‘forfiet’ button is GREAT idea.
Not really, it seems 90% of this community are under the age of 16. Which, byu the way is the legally required age to be playing this game in the first place kids.

You actually think that these kids care what age they are supposed to be playing a certain game is? They just know it’s a cool game, and they want to play it. THe parents just buy them the game to shut them up.

Pretty sad when the kids are more stubborn than the parents. I remember when I saw games I wanted to play, but the ESRB prohibited my parents from purchasing it. If I threw a fit about it they would say “do you want to get grounded?”
But anyway, I don’t know what’s worse the kids who shouldn’t be playing being the ones who talk more trash or the fact that they are allowed to play it. Both are really bad.
