In Halo Reach, the quit ban does make some sense: You don’t want players just willy nilly quitting games. Well I constantly get a quit ban because I constantly get matched with players that either use a lag switch or an aim-bot or some other kind of hacks to give themselves an advantage. I don’t quit games just because I can or because i’m losing, I quit because there are so many people cheating that I just don’t want to be in a game with. Since the game does not respect avoided players, It does me no good to avoid them because I get put in a game with them anyway. Sometimes 3 times in a row. Can you change this to at least allow me to avoid these players? Something that will give me incentive to stay in games instead of constantly being shot in the face by an aim bot user? Or assassinated by a lag switch user?
I have no problems with it. I’ve been playing Reach recently and the only thing I’ve noticed is that the game is full of tryharders and the map Uncaged is a jet-pack fest which completely ruins the game.
It’s there to avoid people from constantly quitting because they aren’t winning or something. You’re meant to play until the match is over. The moments when I quit an online match is when the enemy team doesn’t give us a chance or when they’re exploiting the system.
What do you mean, alot of people are cheating? I barely encounter one. It’s just full of tryharders.

I haven’t run into anyone that was legitimately lag switching since Halo 2. If people are still doing that in 2017 to a 7 year old game, well that’s just funny. Aim-bots are a little harder to prove. I haven’t played Reach in awhile, but I feel like you’re being a little hyperbolic. If you want a cheat-fest, try playing CoD WaW online.
I don’t think the quit ban will be amended. The game is as I stated above, 7 years old. Don’t look for any real tuning for it.

As I said on my comment, I barely encounter anyone who manipulated the game to their favor. The only reason why it’s ruined it’s because of the amount of tryharders.
Well you may not encounter them, but I encounter them all the time. As far as “proving” aimbots they are really obvious. You can usually tell if they never miss a shot or shoot you without even looking in your direction. That is if they are not using invincibility hacks or speed hacks. Lag switchers do still exist and whoever thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. Just search youtube videos of people using a lag switch and you will find at least one within the last few months. I am not saying that the quit ban is “stupid” I am saying quitting should be handled differently, like losing rank/credits or something else other than not being able to join for 10 minutes because the other team was cheating or the connection was bad etc. If you want an example, just the other day I was in a game with somebody using an aimbot. He clearly was and when I tried to assassinate him he took no shield damage at all and sniped me while looking the other way. He did not miss a single shot and did not get a spree even though he did not die and got over 30 kills. This is just one of many examples but you see my point. I get put in a game with players like this all the time. As far as lag switches go those are the ones that are hard to prove, but again those are still in the game and many youtubers brag about it still to this day that they use them in Halo: Reach. You can hate on me all you want, but I am not the only person who thinks this.

Well then I don’t know what happens with you, and maybe your just unlucky. I don’t encounter any -_- I get the point of this thread, but as for cheaters… I barely really encounter one. Just report them, or something. As for lag switches, the same applies. It hasn’t happened to me yet.
I always report the cheaters that use aimbots or other obvious hacks. As far as lag switches, it is very hard to tell, so I report them at times but not often. The cheater thing was an example of why the quit ban does not stop people from quitting games. One of the only things I am asking for is to have the ability to avoid them or block them without still getting put in a game with them. Whether they are a tryhard or a cheater.
