So I just wanna know? I leave one game after not quitting for two weeks and I get the quit ban. The quit ban is the worst possible idea the bungie came up with. I payed $150 dollars for the legendary edition, and I pay $60 a year to play this game. To get banned from a game you pay to play is stupid, if anything you should get banned from playstation’s multiplayer seeing as how it’s free.Now back to my question I never really leave a game I’m in, and when I do its about 1 every 3-4 days.But I do dashboard in pregame lobby alot to avoid playing whole teams and bad maps but this does not count does it?

Quit as much as you want, if you get banned just stay signed in for 15 minutes and do something else and then you can play again!

Yes it does count as already previously mentioned. The quit-ban is stupid I agree with you. There should be a penalty like there was in Halo 3 against your experience if you quit, like how there should be a cR penalty if you quit out of a game in Reach. This way you can quit when you want but it impedes the acquisition of higher ranks.
Well there needs to be a ban, but I agree it is ridiculous. Personally, if you leave an FFA playlist (besides Living Dead), it shouldn’t count since your not screwing over people on your team because there aren’t any. And you should also be able to leave Score Attack (your not screwing over anyone else because THERE IS NO ONE ELSE). I quit a lot like a week ago thanks to bad maps and gametypes getting voted for in the TS playlist and it STILL hasn’t reset my count, so if I quit once I’m banned. But no matter, I just load up a custom Firefight game and let those 10-15 minutes blow by…

If you can’t tolerate certain games in a playlist, don’t play that playlist.
The other people in your game also pay to play, and they should be able to have balanced matches. Stop being selfish, you just ruined a game for seven other people.

Do you rage when you get betrayal booted and say “he shouldn’t have been standing in front of my grenades?” This is a selfish attitude.

You decide what you should play or not, just a Bungie/343i decides who they should ban or not such as yourself.

Sounds like you really shouldn’t be playing that playlist if you can’t handle what people vote for.

You can always take a break and play another game. Quitting is poor sportsmanship and it can get irritating. If you want the advantage to choose levels go in with a group.
Yanno, nobody like a quitter but the OP has a point. Why should anyone be forced to play a game they are not likely to enjoy? There are several maps I cannot play because I don’t have the map packs. The list of maps is right there, staring me in the face every single time I get on the ol’ xbox. They have a little star next to them. What does that star mean, it means I cannot play that map so I am excluded from being tossed into the hopper with others that do have those map packs. So, why not have a way for players to exclude themselves from maps they do not want to participate on? How difficult would it be for 363 to give users the ability to opt out of specific maps? I dunno, just a thought. Looking for the win-win.

No one cares how much you spent to play the game. If you’re ruining the game for others you deserve to get banned. I despise the cage but it doesn’t give me the right to act like a selfish brat and quit games. Suck it up.

This is not fair on your teammates. You said you pay to play and that makes it acceptable but you choose to pay.
When I have teammates that quit before games I get extremely angry unless it’s a legit reason, not just because they didn’t get the map they wanted. Quite frankly it’s childish and not fair on the team mates who have to start a man down
So why should I be the one punished if you leave me in the middle of a game? A lost or losing exp isn’t good enough and is perfect IMO.
Why should I be punished for being matched against a whole team while I have a bunch of bad randoms on my team and we get destroyed.So I should just stay and have them keep killing my team til they all leave and I’m the only one left and have no chance and getting t-bagged.Yeah ok.
And it’s also fair that I get matched up with a team of 7 and they all start betraying me cause I’m the odd man out.
The point is its not fair to ban someone for quitting when you have no choice but to leave.Like when I was playing arena some time ago and 3 of my teammates left me so I should get penalized for quitting when its 4 on 1.
