Quit Ban Halo 4?

This topic is only being brought up to have this question answered. I am NOT interested in anyones personal opinion on the matter, and im not posting this to start a debate.

Please reply only to the desired question.

Will there be a quitban in Halo 4?

Unknown.

Who knows bro? Quit bans were stoopid yo!

In all seriousness, I imagine the XP gimp for quitting would be a sufficient alternative to quit banning.

I hope. I quit a lot and get banned, but at least it will lower down the amount of people saying “Aww man, I’m not doing good in this gametype right now, I’m going to free-for-all”

sorry to sound like a noob. but whats a quitban?

> sorry to sound like a noob. but whats a quitban?

Quitting or betraying to many times resulted in a 10 minute ban from matchmaking in Reach.

In Halo Reach, you were temporarily banned from MM for quitting too many times within a certain timeframe, like within 12 hours or so.

This seems to be the only answer right now. I would really like details on this topic…
As a consumer, i feel i have the right to know before making any decision about purchesing this product.

Is the whereabouts of quitban alone your single determining factor in your decision to buy this game or not?

Good good. On topic: there’s no info about it yet. I imagine with the addition of join in progress, the quitting penalties will either be more severe or reduced.

Thanks, that helps.

I would honeslty just like an answer, and every topic i scrolled through was a debate on weather it should exist. Its a legitimate question that isnt being answrered.

…and forgive me if it has. i have a habbit of getting aggrivated by things that have unknowing to me been solved.

I cursed Bethesda to everyone i talked games to, and let Skyrim sit on my shelf for over a year because i was SURE it didnt have southpaw support… Until someone told me to change the setting in my console… so dumb. Biggest face palm of my life.

So you bought Skyrim, then didn’t play it because you didn’t know if it had controls you liked?

I cant play games in first person without using southpaw sticks. Ive been using it since Halo CE. Anyone who plays default can swap to southpaw and see whats its like for themselves.

Most games have it in their settings, Skyrim does not. So yeah i didnt play it until i learned you can change it on your console settings.

doesnt work for evey game sadly

IMO, I don’t think it’s the quitters that need to be banned. They really need to ban the people that betray their teammates, and also the people who idly sit at spawn while doing something else instead of paying attention and playing the game.

Unlikely. Like Ive said before, with the “Join in Progress” feature now in Halo, don’t expect any other kind of repercussion for quitting.
