One of the reasons that I got hooked on Halo CE back in the day was the quirky and often humorous aspects of the game. Funny dialogue from grunts, elites, marines, and even 343 guilty spark. We called grunts “Doritos” because on my crappy TV they looked like they had a big orange nacho cheese triangle head.
I feel like the last several iterations of halo lost this aspect and I am happy to see Halo 5 recapture it. Grunts say bizarre and funny lines, elites are speaking English again, Buck was appropriately sarcastic, and Exuberant Witness was endearingly naive.
