Quickplay is unplayable and the most tilting experience I've played in a long time

You HAVE to do something about quickplay…

Here’s a summary of my last match playing on Behemoth CTF.

Spawn below, two enemies appear within seconds from mid.
Spawn behind base, enemy from the right kills me within seconds.
Spawn below, camo is about to be ready, enemy killed me from the hole front left and takes camo.
Spawn behind, know where camo guy went, but can’t find him, visual pop in and bugs make it impossible, get killed by him lobbing shock grenades. Spawn below, flag in mid right, go to take it back, sniped from opposing tower.
Spawn below, flag captured, go and kill sniper on left tower and take banshee that just spawned. As if to say I’m not allowed to have fun or play the game, enemy just happens to have grapple and yoinks my banshee.
Quit game, not fun, would rather watch paint dry.

Even worse is I have a challenge telling me I gotta play 10 of these -Yoink!- things. I’m not a masochist, 343. I can’t just do that. Your spawns are some of the worst I’ve seen in the industry and I’ve seen a lot of wonky stuff in CoD.

The spawns are predictable, and can be manipulated. That’s the sign of a good system for an arena game.

That’s not a good thing

Yes it is, Halo has been built on this. Which is why having a utility weapon is so important on spawn. AR/Sidekick almost fill that role but it works best for BR starts.

H4 didn’t and spawns bad.

Let’s just agree to disagree.

no they arent, you cant manipulate spawns in infinite, they are random

That’s just not true.

then why do you spawn directly beside enemies, in their sightlines, but yet sometimes spawn alone. Sometimes on top of your team. Lmfao the spawns are flat out random

youre so wrong dude, halo reach added in spawn flips. Spawns use to not flip.

You never played halo aside from halo 5 and it shows

infinite’s gameplay for me consists of getting lasered down by an AR from an enemy I don’t see on my radar 2 seconds after spawning

Halo Reach added in spawn flips… So the older Halos never had them on any map? Are you sure you want to commit to this statement?

You can block, influence and predict spawns.

yeah i do, because youre full of crap trying to justify the terrible spawns.

I’m sorry if you don’t understand it. Go read up on how the spawns work or play a few games and work it out for yourself.

Since CE and only since CE! in other halo games like reach, 4 and 5. you’d spawn away from the enemy. of if the enemy was spread out, it would be random, or seemingly so. and not predictable. predictable spawns aren’t only bad, it’s infuriating. halo has tried to avoid that in future games, and good i’d say! it prevents me from dying 0.1 seconds after spawning. i want to play the game, not as a corpse

lol, get onyx first before you try to talk.

I am Onyx in Infinite already, I was in the first week. Was Onyx in H5 and in Reach.

50 in H3.

I know how spawns work lol.

I’m sorry but this statement is also incorrect.

then prove it. Prove that spawns flipped prior to halo reach.

you can deny all you want ttp://halo.bungie.org/misc/fyrewulff_spawnsystem/

But here it details how it worked, spawns had weight, they do not here. You spawn where ever there is a spawn open. Not where this system shows.

Okay so go into Halo 3 forge, you will be able to see spawns. Now the spawns can be Red, Blue or white. Depending on the spawn means if either team can spawn there or just one.

On almost every map the spawns are white meaning they can flip. If you load up MLG Narrows variant you will see they use red spawns on one half of the map and blue spawns on the other to prevent spawn flipping. Same with The Pit for MLG. But they flipped on both maps regular.
