Hey all yesterday I killed a grunt goblin by tricking it to jump off of the map. Is this a glitch, or did I just figure out the quickest way to kill that goblin? In another topic do the kenetic bolts do extra damage to bosses?
Well played.
I would have never shown that video here. It was awesome though.
Oh man, I’m going to try this out. No one ever bothers to kill this boss because it’s too much work for just 100 pts.

Yup we lost that match too
The easiest way to kill it without a glitch is to shoot the shield twice with the splaser then hit the pilot with a battle rifle.

Here. Note that prior to the clip, I had already hit the shield with the Laser once.
i had one on storm break today on WZFF where it got stuck on a ramp in the middle base and couldn’t move. someone just yelled “everyone just unload on it its stuck!” and i think 6 of us circled around it and just lit it up. even then it still took a solid 30 seconds to melt it.
side note: i just can’t believe that needle blast just before it jumped off the edge didn’t kill you. it woulda killed my ghost. pretty sure.
I like this because you don’t need to use REQs like the sniper, splaser, or a tank lol

Neat thanks!
I like this discussion, though I’d like to weigh in on your question: Do Kinetic Bolts do more damage to bosses?
Quick answer: Depends on the Boss. Goblins, yes.
Longer answer: Vehicles, boss or not, take extra damage and knockback from both the Kinetic Bolts attachment as well as the Knight Blade attachment, which augment weapon discharge or melee respectively. The Grunt Goblin is considered a vehicle by the game, and, as such, these two weapon attachments apply to it as they do to any other vehicle.
Hope I helped, even if just a small amount.

Thanks for the info! Somehow it feels like the kenetic bolts also help against the knights and other Prometheans, although I guess it could be just wishful thinking.

I’m pretty sure Kinetic Bolts do additional damage to armored enemies such as Prometheans and vehicles.

Yes it does at least feel that way.
