Forgive me if this has been previously posted but I have had a hard time finding a straight forward and fact based answer by searching here and elsewhere.
Spartan Ops will be releasing new material in regular intervals that will contain pieces of the story and up to 5 solo or co-op based mission objectives.
Please only answer the question if you can back up the answer:
Question is - Are all of the spartan ops missions re-playable at will once they are released? Are they downloaded locally every week? My biggest concern is what if you are out of town for a week or 2, business, vacation, or other? Do you miss out on that chunk of the story, missions, etc?

Wat I believe Frank O’Conner said ont he subject of further seasons is “we’ll see how the first season goes” so if it is a hit then I am guessing we can expect more…
From what I gathered. It sounds like the Cutscenes are permanent, you can view them any time once you’ve unlocked them. But weekly missions are like weekly challenges, they disappear when the new ones come out.

No, all Spartan Ops missions will stay on your hard drive once you have downloaded them until you delete them yourself.

You can replay any missions that you have completed and on any difficulty too! Every week, 343 will update the Spartan Ops story with weekly episodes containing new missions (five per week), and CG cutscenes.
If you happen to fall behind, you just have to download whatever 343 released/releases and start playing the missions in order. You won’t miss out anything.
Just remember, that you won’t have access to Spartan OPs if you don’t have xbox live gold. So make sure you don’t run out and you’ll be fine :).
The first season is free though if successful, subsequent seasons that follow will most likely have to be paid with microsoft points.

This is a good question but i am not 100 percent sure. Campaign is four player split, so i assume that 343 can make it work for Spartan OPs. I could be wrong though.

There is absolutely no reason to remove a very critical and important staple of the series (it’s been around since Halo 2). Really, there is zero benefits to be gained in getting rid of custom games. Without it, people can no longer create cool new gametypes and use them with their forged maps. 343 would have to be super incompetent to push this on players, but since they are not…
When i say i am certain, there is no doubt in my mind local custom games are in Halo 4.
