Is it just me or does the game not like launching via Quick Resume on a XSX? It never connects online or after searching for a match just says not able to connect etc. I tend to have to close the game and cold launch it.

Yes, close the game to restart it again. Quick resume is a little buggy on xsx for me too.

Yeah I have issues with Quick Resume also. Some games work great with it, others kind of break. Unfortunately, Infinite seems to be of the latter.

Quick Resume doesn’t work on MCC either. Just a 343i thing

It bugs out with Quick Resume, yeah. It actually does work with the Training Mode though.

seems to me like quick resume only works for offline games, both warzone and halo it’s not connecting to servers when starting for a quick resume, need to restart the game.

Don’t use quick resume on ANY online games. It’s really only intended for single player. All MP servers basically assume you’ve lost connection to the server.

where do we disable it?
If it’s going to have Quick Resume (a feature I do love) I’d like it to work for MP. Don’t know if that is an Xbox issue or 343 issue though.

its a xbox issue , when you resume the game it don’t restart the connection the the online servers so you have to restart the game to make that happen

Quick resume doesn’t work for games that need an internet connection. It works fine on offline si gle player games though. Make sure you press start on the game and go down to pick Quit before you start the game up. Otherwise it’ll be broken and you’ll have to restart the game anyway

Workaround for this.
After a quick resume go straight to theater and load up any game to watch. Previous match or whatever. As soon as it loads up quit out of the match in Theater.
It will then be connected and you’ll be able to play MP games.

No. It’s fast but I get if you just wanna restart it. Loading your previous match theater file is quick. Then just exit and it’s ready to go.

I have to force quit and launch every time I start infinite on my series x
Quick Resume is not working properly on any server-based game that I have tried. The only good thing on XSX is that reboot of the game takes seconds only.
I just shut down the game everytime I’m done with playing.
