Just thought I’d pop back in here and remind anyone who is not happy with Halo 4 at the moment and has issues they wish to see fixed or features they feel need to be added…
Do not buy the Majestic Map Pack.
Vote with your wallet, because your money is what matters most. The lower the sales are, the more attention we all get from 343.
If you are perfectly satisfied with the game and are still enjoying it, more power to you, I’m jealous, and have fun with the new maps.

Honestly just wait one week and see what the population does in the playlist. However being 4V4 maps which is what they should have done with the last pack, the population might be steady.
Getting 343 to listen is not going to happen in this lifetime. They seem religiously devout to destroying the game and changing what Bungie worked hard to build and create.
I never buy dlc the first day it comes out; I always let friends buy it first and then they tell me if its worth buying.

Agreed. I think everyone here would be happy with a Halo that reflected Halo 2 and Halo 3. I know players welcome the additions like Loadouts and Weapon Drops, but honestly ask yourself, would you hate the game if they were removed? Wouldn’t you want a Halo that everyone started with the same weapons and had to find/earn the better ones? To be thats more fun instead of them being handed to you.

Thats why i said “I think everyone”. What I am saying though is that if it was a solid FPS where everyone had the same weapons to start (even playing field), and all weapons were placed on the map; wouldn’t that be fun for “everyone”?
Do you really play Halo for the gimmicks or because its always been a solid FPS? And this i’m asking you, but, when you are playing, do you really rely on your AA to have fun? Or is the gun-play itself not all the reward you need? For me it is.

I enjoy the addition of the AA’s. I feel they add a layer of strategy that was not there during halo 2 or CE, just like equipment did in halo 3.
I like my games to evolve, I dont want to play the same game for 10 years. I’ve played halo for 10 years because I enjoyed the story, I’ve enjoyed the environment, I’ve enjoyed the game play, I’ve enjoyed the changes and the growth.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking this trend started with 343. Bungie made Reach. Never forget that.
I really would like to have more maps, not forge, but I am dissatisfied with how things are still. If and when it really gets better, I may purchase the map pass.
I almost got the LE before release, but good that I changed my mind. Standard will do.

That’s the best thing you can do.
Your wallet is the most powerfull thing you have at this moment.
By not buying the map pack you’re showing that you’re not supporting what they are doing with the game and that you want change before you’ll start giving them any money.

I blame Bungie for most of what happened to Halo. They were testing AAs in Reach so they could implement them as powers for your character in Destiny. It kinda makes me mad that they killed the franchise I loved for their own gain.
