i just got the halo 5 Xbox and I think some very little pieces of a broken vase got into the vents lol do you think it will be ok? Weird I know
Maybe post some pictures. It’d be hard for anyone to really know if it’ll affect without understanding the situation. I’m sure the recommendation though will be to send it back, but ultimately it is up to you and your judgement.

Maybe so maybe no it’s a tough call. Odds are it should be fine. I am pretty sure ceramic doesn’t conduct electricity so it shouldn’t short any thing out. Soda spilled onto my Xbox. Luckily it was off and not sure how much got in it but I rested it on a heating pad on medium heat for a couple of days and it was fine.
Maybe vacuum the top with an upholstery attachment and lightly shake the Xbox see if you hear anything.
The vents, if you can hear them on a normal Xbox One, aren’t running at a high speed because the heating efficiency has been increased. If you hear your vents running loudly at all then it may be a problem, but just know that they’re not maxing themselves out or anything when it comes to power.
Shouldn’t be throwing vases at your xbox! 
You will probably be fine, sounds like they weren’t big enough to really hurt anything. Just keep an ear to the ground for any noises that could be related (as I am sure you already are).
