so ive been using this Strat since launch and i can definitely tell im very close to moving up to the gold packs. but my question is do the emblems count? what i mean by that is that in many req pack opening videos ive watched where people start getting req points in their silver packs and they open gold they still get some rare emblems from their gold packs. but mostly Ultra rare and legendary/Mythic unlocks. so does that mean i dont have to wait til i have all my common,uncommon and rare emblems to move onto the gold packs. i already know that once you unlock the ONI Gauss Turret certification your done on silver’s. but wanted to know if Emblems count?
Yes, Emblems are part of the unlockable count inside the packs. You’ll find plenty as you burn through the packs on your quest to Gold.

yes i know emblems are unlocked but what i mean is the Progress count using the Bronze>Silver>Gold method. like do i need to unlock all my Rare emblems in the silver req packs before i receive the ONI Gauss turret certification or will i get that before my Rare emblem collection is completed. because the guess turret certification is there to tell you your done with Silver packs. i should’ve been more specific in my Original post and i apologize if it wasn’t so clear on what i want to know.

No I understand it but am in the same boat as you. I have less than 20 rare REQs to open left not counting emblems. But I have 56 rare emblems that I still haven’t unlocked.
Commendation emblems are rare which explains why so many are left.
The REQ unlocks aren’t in a defined sequence so one you start getting points then it’s obvious you switch to gold.
Emblems do count but only if they aren’t special/commendation ones.
The only way that person could get a rare in a gold is if he didn’t finish silver or DLC was added.
