It will likely come on launch day. What store did you reserve it at? Typically codes of that sort are bundled with the game when you pick it up.

hope it isnt e-mail, my inbox is full of facebook -Yoink-

Pretty sure that the suit and the skull come with all Day One purchases since everywhere I look, they all offer the same thing…

Gamestop,

Email where did you here that?
Gamestop gives it to you when you purchase it.

> Gamestop,

They normally give you a code card when you pick up the game. I have mine reserved there as well, and I’ve received no information regarding sending out e-mails for codes… I just assumed they give you the code like they’ve done in recent Halo launches.

It depends. When I pre-ordered Reach, the Multithreat Armor code came in the email, if I remember correctly. The Recon helmet came in a little booklet in the game cover.

Weird I got both my armor codes at gamestop.

it was on a website like halopedia but it wasnt that site ,oh well either way i pre-ordered it for the game not the avatar suit even though if it comes up in market place it’d probally be 5 bucks for it anyways

Most promotional game codes come in cards like this , which was Sergeant Johnson’s character in ODST, given out for people who preordered ODST at Gamestop. I’d imagine that’s how they’ll be handing the avatar/skull codes. Maybe sending out e-mails is a regional thing?

dang that is alot of srgt.johnson code’s

Emails are for when ordering online.

Whenever I pre-order a game, GameStop gives me the marketplace code to download any bonus content I get with it on my receipt.

This is how it works if you pre-order in the store or pre-order online and choose ‘In-Store Pickup’. You get the codes by email on release day if you order online and have the game shipped to your house. This is how pre-order bonuses work at Best Buy and everywhere else as well when the stores have the codes.

BUT: From the description on the Gamestop website, it sounds like this is a pack-in preorder bonus that comes in the box rather than from the retailer. This is how Sgt. Johnson was in ODST and how the Recon Helmet was for Reach. The UA Multithreat chestpiece code, however, was not a pack in and was either printed o a receipt or received via email.
