Quick question about updates...

Hey everybody, I recently picked up a new xbox one and installed Halo 5 via disc (disconnected from the network, everything went smoothly). Upon launching the game I expected a substantial update, as that seems to be the standard, but what I got was HUGE. 45.65 GB UPDATE!!! Is this legit, or is it a glitch of some sort? If it’s a glitch, please let me know if there is a fix. If it’s legit, well, guess I’ve got a week+ of updating to do with my crap 2.3 mb/s download speed (I hate you AT&T).

Thanks!

Ya that would be correct. But that is not one update, you would be downloading a few of them.

Bummer, I figured that may be the case. Definitely easier to swallow when you download the updates as they come. Just bought another xbox for the wifey so we can finally play together. I’ve had it for a week, and just now finished BF4 updates/map packs. So I guess it’s slow process this gen when your internet blows…best I can get when cable refuses to lay the lines, and AT&T refuses to upgrade a darn thing.

That would be all 9 of the updates in one go.

Yeah update size can be staggering huh? At least you have 2.3mb/s i dont even have over 1mb/s :frowning: it took over 12 hours for a 2gb update…
