Quick Question about TV Setup

So I heard from somewhere that you have to have an HDMI cord/HDTV to play Halo 4.

Is this fact or fiction?

I seriously DOUBT that would be right.

I doubt that’s true, but an HDMI certainly makes a huge difference and is definitely recommended. I don’t know how I played Reach without an HDMI cord, it looks awful.

I’d say HDMI makes your games looks so much better but is definitely not required.

Sigh I need a new TV.

picks up old 42" 50Lb SD TV and throws it out the window

There, guess I have no choice but to upgrade now.

Fiction. HDMI is not required for any Xbox 360 game.

Thanks guys!

false, Minecraft split-screen does in fact require an HDMI cord

Really? I find that hard to believe.

But Halo 4 probably won’t require it. It’d cut out a huge chunk of their player base, which means fewer people playing and spending their money.

Honestly, an SDTV doesn’t have any visual lag whatsoever but all HDTVs have a little bit, but if you want the game to look beautiful then I would definitely get an LCD with a high refresh rate

You need an Xbox 360 to play Halo 4. If the Xbox 360 doesn’t require HDMI, then Halo 4 will not.
