So, I’m fully aware that Halo 4 will come with 2 discs’, disk 1 being single player and disc 2 being multiplayer, but I was reading that the second disc only has the installation for all of the multiplayer features and not the multiplayer itself and that you will “need” to have 8GB free harddrive space. Is this true? Because if so, I may be in a bit a trouble.

Yes it true, the 2nd disc is used for installation (8 gb install), you install it and you play everything from one disc (kinda like forza, i haven’t played forza but i heard it was like it).

Any thumbdrive should work.

Any usb will work, you just need to configure it for xbox to use it. (note back up anything on the usb first).

Yes, any USB Stick that goes up to 16 GB will work.

You have plenty of space, unless you use it up somehow before halo 4 is released.

That’s a lot just for the multiplayer side of a game. I wonder if the updates are be giant like bf3.

My biggest game in terms of space is ME3. Two disc installations, 4 mp DLC, 1 ending DLC, and 2 campaign DLC. That’s around 22gb last time I checked. Second biggest is BF3, which is sitting around 16 gb(although I only have the MP disc installed).
All of my other 360 games are either less than 10gb or only a bit higher.
All the DLC in BL1 is 4.5gb, so lets assume it’ll be about the same for 2. The Adventure Update in Minecraft is going to be super small, considering the base game is only like 112 mb or something. AC3’s bonus mission will probably be around half a gig, and it might even be on the disc.
My point is, you have a -Yoink- ton of space.

161gb is a ridiculous amount of space for just games 
i’ve got 30gb free and i think that’s plenty!

Lol, I’m the same, my HDD has every game I play regularly and more installed, I have about 40gb free, plenty for a few more big games.
