Can I grab the majority on one playthrough then go back and get the ones I missed during the first couple of missions or do I have to do it in one single playthrough?

Hidden Xperia has a good guide for them, I started new save to get 1st 2 level skulls, some are in other levels apart from 1st 2, so until they add level select to can be difficult to get some
Seems all collectibles(excpet spartan core for i assume story reasons) carry over.
I did legendary, just collected stuff as i found em. On 2nd savefile on easy, everything ive ontained in my legendary file is there. The open world portions gonna suck ad i dont think they are on the map
