Hello I have a question about the Halo 4 weapons skins and wondered if anyone knows the answer or has seen it in a gameplay video. Im not used to weapons skins in shooters because I haven’t played Battlefield or CoD and was wondering if you pick up a weapon from a dead player does it have the skin from the dead player or is it just plain; or does it even switch to the skin you have equippped on your weapon? Also when the weapon is laying on the ground does it show its skin or is it plain?

I’m fairly sure it picks up the skinned weapon, as skinned weapons exist as separate entities under the loadout selection screen. I didn’t notice skins while playing, though.
It will keep its skin. In Halo 4, skinned weapons are treated as a different weapon selection in menus.
