So recently, I believe yesterday, the hardcore super Fiesta got replaced with Head to Head. To have a little fun I decided to change my gameplay quite a bit. Instead of using a magnum like 99.9% of everyone else does I decided to only use the AR. Now I do admit I sometimes put a magnum kill in a game or two but I mostly just use the AR. What I’ve began to realize is that it seems to be really, really powerful. Not to brag but every game I’ve played so far I have won only using the AR. And I’m starting to get messages from people saying I’m modding my AR to do more damage and that I’ve been reported. Did the AR get a damage boost only in H2H or has it just been the same ol AR? I’d like for some others to experiment with this weapon. My opinion it’s just the normal AR and it’s just underrated overall. Thanks spartans and keep on killin’.
Wow. I hope not. Because that would make it very OP!
I’m going to go ahead and give it a try
Well, if you’re aiming for the head with the AR, that’s where you’ll notice the real upgrade to it as it has an upped headshot damage multiplier on unshielded opponents. This was added in the last weapon tuning upgrade. Since 99.9% of people use the Magnum, and only use the AR for cleanup kills, sometimes people forget about that little factoid.

Definitely not the case. Look at how ridiculously fast I get Melted!
If you know how to use it and are accurate it’s a great weapon. All it takes is popping the shields off and then focus on headshots, using smart link if needed.
H2H is a bunch of close encounters, which is exactly where the AR shines.
