Who is/would be interested in Halo 3: Anniversary?
I understand that this question has been asked a million times since the announcement of Halo: The Master-Chief Collection, and it is probably a little drawn-out at this stage. However, I have spent the past few days constructing a rather in-depth post about Halo 3: Anniversary, and before I post it, I want to gain some feedback from the community (it will be posted on Reddit, it contains over 15k characters) so I can decide if it’s worth posting or not.

I am fairly certain most of the community is interested in a Halo 3 Anniv. I personally think that Halo 3A is unnecessary. Halo 3 is a still functioning game on the 360 and looks decent enough. It’s polygon counts may not have held up, but its art style has. No need for anymore anniversaries past Halo 2.

I do have to agree - Halo 3 definitely isn’t the least visually pleasing game out there.
Does it need a face-lift? Probably not. However, I’m more interested in what the Multiplayer had to offer, and just for myself, but the entire community.
I think it would be a beautiful peice of work… Will we see it? I don’t think that it’s anywhere near 343’s dinner plate at the time. Would love to see it after Halo Wars 2 though…

I’m with you on that one, unfortunately.
Halo 3: Anniversary is something a lot of us want. It’s honestly something that, in my opinion, the community could benefit greatly from. Halo 3 had so much to offer every kind of player, from casual to pro.
If 343i were to execute its re-mastering properly, it would make a lot of people very happy.
