Quick question about avoiding JIP...

Does changing my ‘Network’ from ‘Xbox Live’ to ‘My Xbox 360’ in the lobby to avoid JIP count as a quit against your record?

I’ve just done it 3 times in quick succession as I don’t want to get put into a Map or Gametype I don’t like but I’m afraid I might get banned for quitting.

Does anyone know?

It won’t count against you, but it will likely increase the number of JIP games you happen to have.

i do this so often it aint funny… especially when im playing things like multi-team and Ragnarok SWAT won’t bugger off… but no, you can do this 50 times in a day or something crazy and you wont get put on a quit ban.

OK, thanks for the quick replies guys

Avoiding JiP won’t count as a quit and won’t cause you to have more JiP games.

The only way it’ll increase your JIPs is that when you search again you’ll be likely to JIP again since usually you only JIP into new lobbies (unless your current lobby dwindles enough to get JIP’d as whole), had you joined the JIP game you’d be in a lobby and hence unlikely to JIP until you leave that lobby.
Its not going to prefer you for JIPs or anything though.
