I think 343 should keep Quick Play into the Social arena for many new players and veteran players that are just wanting to lay back and enjoy slayer for fun. Ever since they added it into the Social Pool, it’s been fun having not to worry about what Rank you’ll get when you had to play in Ranked just to play slayer. That’s what I want, game modes that can be played to teach or just for the fun of it (Breakout, CTF, Slayer, most of the game modes already in our Ranked Arena) and not have to worry about getting a rank. I view Social as a place to get familiar with the Multiplayer or just to enjoy the most of it without to much concern. And Ranked as a more competitive field that want to and work with other players to get to the top to get a good rank. What do you guys think?
Completely agree and sometimes it’s fun to shred some newbies
I played one game by mistake last night when I mean t to play super fiesta and notice no difference from how it played any where else.
I like it but I will admit people who are extremely good at the game seem to come here in numbers.

The closest thing we have to a social slayer playlist is Super Fiesta. While fun, a traditional social experience is hard to beat. I hope they keep it. Even competitive players want to kick back and relax every now and then and this is the best place to have that given the party limit in place.

Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the playlist because of that but I find myself at times having to sit upright in my chair due to some players which isn’t a problem I just don’t expect it at times sadly

What is it about the Quick Play playlist that you find relaxing?

Unranked, more relaxed search parameters, and a party size restriction that ensures a team of 4 isn’t just going to run the playlist. Duos still have to deal with 2 randoms at the ends of the day.

By “more relaxed search parameters”, you’re referring to allowing a wider skill gap for matching against opponents? If so, are you saying that you find the playlist relaxing in part because you get easy wins?
I found it weird seeing people JIP into the game since we never had that in normal Slayer before.
I would change two things with it. The first being a different description so it’s more obvious to new players that it’s a playlist for them. I would also make it stand out more like putting it above all the other playlists in its own box area. It kind of blends in for me and I don’t think I would pay attention to it if I was new player.

Not entirely because it goes both ways. I can get matched against easier opponents or go against a solid duo. And as I said, there are the other factors to consider that makes the playlist enjoyable for all.
Quick Play is the best
Most of the time it just seems like a sweatfest
No ranking, so losing is irrelevant. I specifically use this playlist as a warm up before jumping into arena. Before, there was no real “warm up” playlist, other than trying to search for an Octagon match. At least with this, if I do not have a team and still want to play a typical Slayer match, then I have Quick Play as an option now.
Love it, keep it.
As an actual, genuinely new player to Halo 5, I think it’s great.
The fact that there’s only a few maps to learn helps a bunch, and I like that you can find a game super-quick. I can just concentrate on practicing, without fear of being lost on a new map every other game.
Sometimes I’m on the pointy end of the stick in terms of matchmaking, but the times I feel like I’m getting matched with people at my skill level has been really fun.
Now if only I could finally win a game of Warzone…

WarZone is a massive map with a wack load of things … AI, your opponent, hi-jacking vehicles …
I took my 2 newb friends in there and they got overwhelm that they would stick with social game mode
