I still dont know why some kids think that there so godly with the sniper rifle? I picked up the weapon fair and square, and you think your a better sniper? This kid started to shoot me in the back so I turned around and 180 sniped him in the face. Get off my D right? I was booted and this kid challanged me to a 1v1. So Im like OK lets get this scrub over with. Wooped him like it was no ones business.
Moral of the story? Dont betray for a power weapon especially the sniper.

2- your probably a little kid.
3- chances are your not as good as you think you are.
had nearly the same thing happen to me a few games ago, but he killed me and i couldnt boot him, was unfortunate.
Picture what the person is probably like to be around in real life and it becomes a non-issue. I’ve worked with preschoolers, so I have the skillz 
Even though it pretty mych PO’s me as many others, just wait till they get the sniper… then get sniped XD, then go pick up their ‘personal’ weapon

Usually if they ty to betray me and I die from an enemy or them betraying me I wait untill they die. I pick up their sniper wait for them to rush me to get it back and either chuck it off of a cliff or waste the ammo. About 9 times out of 10 they will betray and pop BK has left the game.

Yeah that aggervates me to no end when people betray me for a power weapon. It is also kind of annoying when they just sit at the spawn point of the weapon and they just grab it the second it spawns. Maybe if these people actually did the objective of the game, (whether it is invasion, team slayer, team objective) and actually did something instead of betraying teammates and sitting in one area for half a game, they might do good in a game for once

Its like a never ending circle. They need the power weapon to get kills, so they wait for it to spawn or kill teammates hindering their ability to get kills. And like I said usually little kids do it, so if your older thats really sad and if I were them I would be ashamed.

If someone starts betraying me for the sniper I usually let them kill me so I can boot them. No man, no problem. If you want to betray them right back and don’t mind getting booted I suppose that’s fine. But I would rather play a game without the sniper if it means getting rid of that one turd who is probably going to lose the game for you anyways.

But a lot of the times the guy just stands there shooting you so you cant zoom in and makes you one shoot so an enemy team player can kill you and you cant boot the guy. At that point I dont really care Ill betray that guy because no one gets to be a -yoink!- and get away with it.
It ain’t just the sniper weapon either. I happen to get a Revenant then along comes Noble MINE MINE!!! and nearly betrays me for it!! I was thinkin about makin him taste Reve-Bomb but i just let him have his little pretty ‘toy’

And that’s why the team loses… power-campers that get their OWN head snipped!
not to excuse the silly childish players who betray team memebers for a weapon, but I will say I often just cough it up and walk away, because I assume that they totally suck at anything else. We may have a better chance at winning since I can do MORE THAN ONE THING
I won’t betray initially, but if the sniper proves himself as incompetent Ex(on rock in back of spawn, delaying respawn, or refusing to use it on vehicles) I’ll betray him.
I just started playing Reach again after not playing for 7 months so i’m rusty with the sniper. I have no problem giving up the sniper or other power weapons to my teammates who I think might be better.
If someone asks me something like “Hey can I have the sniper? I’m pretty good with it” i’ll nicely give it to them.
It’s annoying when I grab the sniper and then my teammate tosses grenades at me or shoots me trying to betray me. It’s not like there won’t ever be another sniper during that match.
Most times when that person does get the sniper, they get 1 kill out of the whole gun and they either waste it or they run down the middle of the map and give it away.@_@
I don’t have a problem with people using the sniper during objective games as long as they’re using it to defend the base or using it to protect teammates/objective carrier.
Having a sniper watching your back can definitely help. If the sniper is really bad or just shooting random enemies and not trying to help then he’s completely worthless.

Do you mean refusing to shoot vehicles or refuse to use it on/in a vehicle

I believe Phyre means the former. As in, Banshee is flying around but the sniper is shooting at infantry instead.

At that point, I just waste the sniper ammo. With TU settings you can get plenty of kills with DMR and Needle Rifle.
I am entitled to this sniper rifle. Therefore, I will cry, chuck a tantrum and kill who ever I please to get that weapon as I am the best with the Sniper rifle.
