Quick fix: just cut your prices in half. more people will buy. i certainly would

no more needs to be said. in fact, i would even go far as making the cosmestics at most, $5-$7. no cosmetics should be ten dollars. it is simply too much

suck it up and either wait it out to go cheaper or dont spend. they clearly are making enough in money from people spending since they refuse to address this issue

Cut the prices in half and remove the old armour we’ve earned in previous titles from the store (Reach armour). I’m fine if it’s some new armour pieces (We still need more to earn in game by just playing) but reselling old armour we’ve used before is probably the thing that angers me the most about the store.

It always did strike me as odd that companies think that making things more expensive = more money when that’s only true in the short term. If you make things cheaper, more people might be inclined to buy which means more money in the long term.

Otherwise you’re setting a standard of ‘only those who can afford outrageous prices now matter’.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again:
Even $10 for armor sets is too much.
That’s 6 armor sets for the price of the campaign or previous Halo games.

$5 is my limit.
Also, colors and emblems should be free, and the Battle Pass price should increase to $30-$40 and include all armor (which should total at least 12 per season) and other items for each season.
No items on the shop shouldn’t be in the Battle Pass.

Of course it’s too much you are absolutely right skins are worth 3 dollars max. Fighting games characters character litteraly cost millions to make per characters and they are sold 7-8 dollars. Nothing justifies the current price of skins in the store. And you still have people like the ret*** above above defending this. It’ s not entitlement at this price it’s simply refusing to get screwed.

lol. pathetic.
boy, read the room. 15 dollars for a daisy would make even the rich think it’s absurd. your reaction to this post is honestly pitiful.

exactly. i honestly don’t understand why the prices are this steep for what makes little difference in appearence. i don’t mind paying for digital items as i have done so before like in Halo 5 but this seems far off for me. they should try to encourage purchasing these items with TEMPTING pricing. to make us go, “well it’s only 5 dollars. what harm would five bucks be?”

hope that makes sense.

I honestly just don’t feel like blowing $10 multiple times for a color or a decoration, and especially $15-$20 for a bundle I only want one item in. 343 is just throwing away free money, since we can’t buy items in a bundle separately for a base value, but save money getting the bundle instead of buying it all separately. However, it’s true, I would buy most of every bundle, if it were half the price. I did buy specific things I 100% wanted, but I will never buy anything else now, due to absurd prices. They could be getting people to buy tons of stuff, it if weren’t such a rip off.

Even if they decreased prices I probably wouldn’t buy anything. I bought the pass as it gave me something to work toward, but armor is only fun if it’s earned, not a) randomly acquired like in 5 or b) purchased. Like, my Spartan is already designed as good as I want him with what’s available. I play to unlock the coolest stuff and make him even cooler. That’s what keeps me engaged.

Well, not ME per se, because I also love the competition. But it helps. Having a goal to work toward. And buying armor outright skips that process and would decrease the value of playing.

I’ll be honest, if the current Soldier Bundle was half price I may’ve pulled out my credit card right then to get it.

It does, I honestly see more people paying for things when they’re cheaper than when they’re absurdly priced. Take Warframe for example, every couple of months they release their Prime Vault for new Frames and old a like. The new ones are about $80 but it comes with a Syandana (cape/back piece), a Prime Glyph, the Prime Warframe and its weapons, and a butt load of Platinum (usually like 2,000 or so, which is a lot). So it’s well worth the price and plenty of people buy into it for one reason or another.

You can also get the older Warframes for I think $40-60 and they come with a bunch of goodies too. But you don’t have to buy any of it unless you want to. You can still readily just farm for the parts to both the Frames and the Weapons, you’ll just miss out on the extra goodies.

The price and what is offered should make you be tempted to buy something, it shouldn’t be the only means of obtaining it though and it sure as hell shouldn’t be overly priced.
