For Halo 4, Is it possible (not sue if anyone ask this already) to have the Sprint-ability as a default ability & not a Armor-ability? I mean can we have the Sprint a separate thing, like how the Sprint is in Call of Duty for a example?
It’s possible to do, but 343i would have to be stupid to do this.
Based on the negative response from Armor Abilities in general, no. In my time of browsing the Bungie.net and Halo Waypoint forums, I’m sure that nobody would like it, as it’s either “cheap”, “ruins classic Halo gameplay”, or something else.
Having it built in is even worse, as it allows access to it without having to choose between X and Y, which has never worked in Halo, and will make the mechanic even more ridiculous.
Good question. But no Sprint and all other AAs have no place in Halo. Firstly Chief is a Spartan 2 not a Spartan 3 like we played in Reach. Also the blue print if you will for AAs was lost when Reach fell so unless they screw with lore there will be problems. And also the negative reaction to AAs from the community of hardcore Halo fans was mostly negative I loved H3 and H2s playstyle it was much better. Also if you notice in Reach you moved slower than you did in H3. H3 had a faster run speed to compensate for Sprinting!
