So, what the difference between inviting someone to your fireteam and inviting someone to game? I don’t see any definitive answer in my searches for an answer.
All I want to do is hear my teammates at all times while in the same party without having to use the xbox dashboard to start a chat party.
Theyre the same thing. The way joining games works means you have to use a chat party, atleast in Halo 5. Sorry.

Thanks for the answer, but if they are the same thing why are there 2 options “invite to fireteam” and “invite to game”. There has to be something different about them, unless it is just a mistake?

Cause 343i forgot to actually add in-game content, so they choose to give you a second party option as a distraction. True story.
