The Qualifier round is suppose to end on Jan10, 2013 at 23:59 EST, is this at
jan 10th at midnight or jan 9th at midnight? to me it looks like it means Jan 10th at midnight, also how do we know when we qualify and which tier, it seems abit unorganized but maybe they will clear things up in a couple hours with a post or something

There is a black hole of information regarding this tournament. I really feel like 343 (or -Yoink!- gaming) dropped the ball ENORMOUSLY in their communication. I’ve been hunting for over an hour trying to find out EXACTLY WHEN the finals begin. How the hell can this be considered competitive (and over $140k in prizes handed out) with such poor organization? And why don’t the leaderboards update more frequently than 24 hours.
No idea, im sending emails to -Yoink!- now and they said that the finals start tonight at midnight, also that 343 is still tallying up scores and that it will be updated asap, a simple countdown timer clock would have done us all wonders, lets hope we see something about this challenge from 343 soon today
Does it run tonight at midnight through next friday at midnight or next saturday at midnight?
i.e., 11:59PM on Friday next week or 11:59PM on Saturday next week? I was confused (still can’t find the time data in print), but I thought the tournament started tomorrow (Saturday) at 11:59 PM EST. Clearly I was wrong, and it actually starts tonight (Friday) at 11:59 PM EST (11 PM CST). Great… didn’t plan my weekend accordingly. Guess I’m screwed for the finals.

Well that would appear to be wrong
Website says “FINALS ON NOW”. Pretty clear me thinks
So either someone didn’t want to work on the weekend, or you’rewrong and the finals are on LOL
its the 11th, not the 12th, if the finals are on now then all dates mentioned in the rules are irrelevant, all the info i posted was right from support at -Yoink!- gaming, the guys who are running this challenge
