I’m confused by the contest specifications. Are we allowed to incorporate songs that aren’t from the Halo 4 soundtrack into our final mixes, or can we even use more than one of the three released song stems in one mix? Also, we ARE allowed to use any software we choose, right? If you have any questions or answers, any help is appreciated. Thank you.
You can add sound effects in and stuff that you can freely use, but you can’t put your own songs in, it has to be made exclusively from the actual song.

Okay, thank you immensely for the help, but do you know if you are able to use two or all of the three released songs in the final mix, such as an “Awakening”/“To Galaxy” hybrid song?
