Hey, recently I got the Insider version of MCC and upon looking at it I saw two things.
First the Insider and Original are two different games, meaning that if my friends don’t have the Insider I can not play with them.
Second the achievements cannot be unlocked in the Insider game (there are none), and coming from someone who like to rank up my G’s I feels wrong to do this without getting rewarded.
Also, I have no idea if my stats will show up and that is getting to me. I really want to be involved with the Insider program, I really do so am I wrong about these things because they are making me not as thrilled to be an Insider and I feel like if they could change it so that there is only one game or they can be only one game with a “Insider” edition like a DLC that is given to insiders or make them work together and have the MCC Insider have Achievements that would be awesome. Is this already a thing or am I wrong or is it never going to happen, please give your thoughts and opinions.
It’s the INSIDER program because it gives you an INSIDE look into how they’re fixing the game and to test/provide feedback for the retail update.
It doesn’t have achievements because it’s a temporary version that only exists to test updates and provide feedback. Yes, your friends need to sign up just like you did to be able to test as well.
Curious as to how you managed to sign up without knowing any of this.

Went to the sign up page like everyone else, so question once the flight does the INSIDER game still work?

And you didn’t read what the Insider program is for?
The flights are the Insider program. A flight is a new update that is released when the developer uploads fixes to the Insider version of the game. insiders then test this version of the game and provide feedback. Once a bunch of bugs are fixed, the updates are sent to the retail version of the game - that is, the non-Insider version we’ve had for years.
So yes, the Insider version of the game will still work once the retail patch comes out, as there are probably more bugs and additions to be added over time.
If you have comments or feedback about a specific update you can post on the official feedback Forum thread.

In the latest info near the bottom it states that those with a digital copy of the MCC and those with active game pass will continue to have access to the test version of the MCC. Does this mean that those of us who have physical discs and have been in the insiders flight tests since day 1 are getting booted out?
