I’m contemplating suic–I mean–buying an Xbox Live subscription so I can play some Halo: Reach Multiplayer, but I need few questions answered, would you kindly?
-
There were some god awful maps and weapons settings and stuff in Team Slayer and Big Team Battle, like one team were the aliens and had those really bad guns which I just hated. Is it possible to completely block certain maps and guns and settings so you’ll never have to play them?
-
I don’t really like humans at all, I like killing them (on games of course, not in real life, don’t be a silly billy… heh… heh… heeeeeeh…), but I don’t like talking to them or anything, and so is it possible to play the MLG playlist with random people? Or do you HAVE to join with a pre-made party?

What are the Pros and Cons of this game nowadays? Is it even worth playing it?
-
Is it better to save my money and wait for Halo 4 and just buy Xbox Live when Halo 4 comes out?
Thank yee.

Thanks
Yeah you’re probably right with question 2, it makes sense cause most teams we’d be up against would probably be actual MLG teams.
And because you can’t change the playlists then I’ll probably have to say no to buying a new subscription.
I really like the Spartan gameplay with the rifles and machine guns, but I don’t have a whole lot of time to play the game, and if I HAVE to play on a map that I hate then I really don’t want to play it. And I remember you suffered some stupid penalty if you left the game, and then once you tried to join matchmaking again it would join you to the exact same game you just left
I’d definitely play it if there was no subscription but I don’t think it really justifies the cost when I can’t play MLG, most people in public matches are noobs, most maps/weapons in public matches are really horrible and there’s also no S&D type of gametype.
Thanks for the info though, have fun!

I will give it a shot.

Nope, but you can play certain playlist and that would allow you to only play certain settings and play types.

Everything is possible, however playing lone wolf in the MLG playlist would be an invitation for a butt whoopin, but give it a try and see how you fair.

That is up to the individual, but speaking for myself I really enjoy Reach.

If you want to be that much farther behind the battle hardened vets that will have played through both games and maybe Halo 3/2/CE.
