I’ve been reading Halo glasslands recently and as I’m reading I honestly think the Halsey storyline is so boring and pointless in a book like glasslands. I know that it’s a continuation of Ghosts of Onyx but can’t they just make a new book for that? I find what Jul Mdama or Kilo five are doing more interesting rather than Halsey and blue team. But what do you guys think am I missing something?
I haven’t read the Kilo-Five trilogy in a while, but I do know that at some point in the trilogy the two storylines intersect. Hasley is taken into custody courtesy of Kilo-Five after getting out of the Dyson Sphere. So it would be kinda difficult to separate the two story lines into separate books since they tie together that way.
I do understand what you mean though. The tone and pace keeps having to jump back and forth between the two stories being told.

That makes more sense now that you say how the two storylines intersect. I still feel like jumping to the two storylines is a little jarring. But thanks anyway.
I agree it was a tad jarring but you’ll see in the next two books where it all ties in, as well as how those events fit into what happened post Halo 4 in Spartan Ops and the comic series. Its not bad if you come to that trilogy right off the heals of Halo 3 and Ghosts of Onyx
