Questions about Flag skins and 343 skins

So I was watching Unyshek and some other 343 members stream on Halo 5 couple of days ago and while streaming somebody in the chat asked what the ice unicorn skin looks like and Unyshek went to his weapon skins and scrolled through his weapons, while scrolling I was able to see multiple 343 skins and the flag skins (Nation skins). It got me wondering about some stuff that hopefully somebody could answer and I have some questions about 343.

The first question I would like to ask is why they haven’t released the Nation skins, I feel like this would be a great chance for them to put it in a REQ pack because most of us are stuck inside in quarantine and putting the flag skins in a REQ pack could be a symbol from 343 to us saying that we know these are hard times and we are all in this together kinda thing.

The second question I would like to ask is I know that 343 is a company that has millions of player playing their games and being on their servers but why do they have SOOOO many cool 343 skins and only 1 was being released to the public in a REQ pack back in 2016 or something that you need to be lucky enough to get it. I think they have created 3 343 skins in all of Halo 5 and as I said only 1 has been kinda released but I feel like that 343 should keep 1 343 skin, which Unyshek is using and other 343 members are using and release the other two in REQ packs, I know many people who buy those REQ pack simply because it has 343 on it and we just want to support the company by running a 343 skin on our weapons.

I know that they want to stand out by the other players but they always have their emblems which I’m fine with and I think that they should keep it but I feel like that they should make a cheap knock off of emblems and skins showing 343 for the community. But all this most likely will never happen because they haven’t worked on the game for a while and spending the most time on MCC and Infinite.

I heard about the countries skins that they dont releasing them because some countries has laws about using the flags or patriot symbols (illegal)

All of these can be modded into the game. You can see them in Halo 5 Forge for PC.

This is a fairly old topic, but from what I recall they were never released due to “the current political climate”. They were going to be released, but ultimately got shelved indefinitely. More specifically assuming I’m remembering correctly there was an incident of somebody going rogue if you catch my drift very close to when those skins were about to drop which resulted in the the skins being in potentially “bad taste”.

I haven’t followed the situation for a long time, if I got anything incorrect feel free to correct me.

That is what I remember as well. As far as I can recall an incident happened and the flag skins were pulled just when they were about to be released.
