I am torn about whether to get the game on Xbox One or PC. I don’t care about controls or any of that because I will use a controller either way. I have friends who have an Xbox One and will be getting it on there. I also have friends who played Halo Wars on the 360 but don’t have an Xbox One. I want to know how cross platform this game will be. Can I Make parties and queue up with friends on both platforms regardless of what platform I am on? I’ve also noticed that the Xbox One version is already available to preorder on Amazon and if you have prime then it is 47.99 instead if 59.99. PC would be more convenient for me to use and my preferred platform to use. I have tried looking this up but have not found anything about it yet. Anyone have a guess?
Get the xbox 1 version in my opinion just in case of you don’t have a strong pc and so you can play with your friends

Yeah a strong PC is not issue to me. I built my PC and its very up to date. But I also have friends on both PC and Xbox one to play the game with. And another point I forgot to mention was that I’d assume the PC version would have better graphics than the Xbox one. I would just like some more insight into the cross platform system for the game. I know that you will have to buy this game from the Xbox store for windows and all the Live games on the marketplace are hosted by Xbox Live which makes sense you can join friends cross-platform.
Currently we don’t know, but I would assume you cannot be in party chat with Xbox players as a PC player, but who knows maybe Microsoft will update party chat into windows 10 gaming.

Have you used the Xbox windows 10 app? One of the reasons I would prefer to use the PC version other than the graphics is that I don’t have a mic for my xbox one that is also a headset. So I use my PC mic with the xbox win 10 app to talk ingame and in party chat with my friends. So you can currently be in a party chat on pc with people on Xbox. I also use the streaming feature of the app to get the sound from the games over to my PC to use my headset.
Maybe just maybe.

I do the same. Anyway, as far as we know, you’ll be able to play with Xbox One gamers on the PC, and vice-versa.
Can’t you stream games from Xbox one to windows 10 pc? Might be worth considering
