Can someone please explain to me what they mean when they say a squeaker and also what is role playing.
A squeaker is a kid on the mic (or an especially shrill older fellow) whose annoying voice and attitude to the game are frankly repugnant. That’s the more derogatory use of the word, at least. It’s often just used to refer to younger players.
Role playing is when players act like they’re in military clans, with a structured hierarchy, leadership, feuds with other clans, and other stuff like that. It’s hilarious because they’re almost always terribly organised, have constant leadership challenges thus having no leadership, they trash talk other clans like babies, and they just generally have no idea what they’re doing.

Haha this is so true. And all these military rp clans are funny to troll and when they do team tac I’m just like “Why AR? Why not pistol? Are you scared I’ll -Yoink- on you?” They’re just children that play customs and sweat in BTB and WZ
I’ll try my best to explain. A squeaker is a kid that hasn’t gone through puberty, hasn’t gotten his voice deepened. Role playing is pretending to be a character. So like let’s say since you could look like Master Chief on Halo Reach you would of course make it look like as if you were him but then role play, go out into a mission and act like you were playing as the Master Chief. Hopefully that made sense!

Very well said, I’ve had the great displeasure of working with one such ‘clan’ (if you can really call them that) on Reach, who tried and failed miserably to organize themselves into a militaristic style (though loosely applied). But when it came down to it, they just a bossy kid 'in charge…very sad cuz some of them were good players.
With mine, yes it is structured in a military fashion, however I’m leaning more toward cooperation rather than total hierarchal dominance, to be honest the only thing that is military in nature is how we’re structured, other than that we just play for fun.

The actual definition of a “squeaker” I can’t type on these forums. In gaming though, it’s just a little kid with a high voice spamming his microphone on the server. They’re in every game. (Especially Team fortress 2)
As for roleplaying, It’s when weird people from weirder fandoms get together on a server and pretend that they’re characters from that fandom, original or not.
There. Happy?
