Hello guys! I have a quick question that I’ve been dying to receive an answer for. The aspect of Halo 4 in which I am confused is, how come we can no longer forge(Create) race maps and gametypes in the Forge mode? Did it use to exist within Halo 4, and if so why was it taken out? If it never existed within the forge mode in Halo 4 then why did 343 Industries cut it from the game? Is there any more information I should know about this? If anyone knows an answer and/or would like to provide their thoughts related to this question, then I would greatly appreciate any helpful information on this topic. Thanks!

Race was never an on-disc gametype for Halo 4, it was cut for some reason before launch.
However, a little while back they recreated the game mode and hosted it in Matchmaking for four weeks (Race & Rocket Race) and recently, hosted Race again.
If you want to Forge with the Race gamemode, you’d have to download that gametype and it would show up in the Gametype section on Halo 4.

Thank you for your answer, it was very helpful! I guess I’ll just have to hope the gametype is included within Halo 5 mainly because I’m having a very difficult time finding a non-faulty race gametype.
