Did you notice that when you move the crosshair let´s say from the aussault riffle or magnum on any object except clouds its gonna twitch ever single time?
You can slow down or speed up that twitch to see 3 to 6 crosshairs at ones by moving fast right and left or fast up and down.
If you move slow and steady the 3 crosshairs look like 6.
When you move fast and steady the crosshair turns into the middle one and one a lil away from it on the left and one a lil away to the right side.
I don´t have a cam that picks up right on it to show you what I mean.
However its with every object except bright white ones like clouds and probably cause some of the lags while aiming at someone.
Did I explain that well enough?
Can anyone follow ?
Or do I just sound crazy? lol
you didn’t sound crazy but can you explain it to me one more time?
That also means that´s why we have no pitch black spartans like people ask for or weapons.
Cause those would be pretty damn screwed cause the lil tiny lag that is caused by the different colors
( black and white are no colors) will not occur and that spartan would probably be the most killed spartan in the game .
Most people can´t see the lag only with slow motion cam you could def show it.
I can´t explain it better sorry.
we have never had pitch black or completely white spartans. i tried to what you did with a magnum and it didn’t happen to me, maybe i have bad eyesight or something…
Yeah that´s what I mean why we never had those.
It happens in multiplayer, offline and in forge does not matter where you try it.
Like I said not everyone can see that with only their eyes.
But maybe I go crazy I don´t know.
Just wanted to know if someone else get´s what I mean.
It´s probably a tiny tiny lag you usually can only see in the game coding or with the cam.
I thought I maybe shares this could be useful or not.
Thanks for trying
no problemo! but i do think this post will fit Halo support seeing as you having a bug of some sort. So you should ask somebody to move it over there
I maybe should tell you you have to move the cross with the movement stick not the camera and dont use the camera stick at all.
Don´t think it´s a bug.
It´s part of the game.

Have you ever played Halo 3? Ultra white was given away on one of the bungie days if i recall.
on topic:
I think what you are looking at is motion blur. It happens when looking at a object because of the extremely poor design of the engine to the level of graphics used. It doesn’t happen on clouds because that is an easy sky box to render. The skybox is just one image where the map is lots.
Great so you know what I mean
Im sorry I got confused from changing the controller layouts the whole time.
It only happens when moving the camera tho.
Now since I know this I get very distracted by it.
Whats your solution?

The only way players could do this in Halo was by illegitimate means. If you see an ‘ultra white’ player, report them.
SO the only solution I find is move your eyes around faster or something.
Does not work for me.
It´s not like I focus to see that.
I see it even when busy in multiplayer.
still nothing…
I don’t think there is a solution. Motion blur is used by the developer to cover up low end graphics. For some reason in this case it was put over the HUD. I think this is because the HUD moves when you move.(when I turn left my HUD will move to the right hand side of my screen)
The best that you could do to fix this would be to not play on maps with lots of forged items. This will only make the problem persist. Any map on disk or DLC made by the developer should have less of a problem with this. The other thing I can think of is guest controllers could also have an effect on this making it worse(two screens to render).
lastly my Xbox is 7 years old with a falcon motherboard. This means that my Xbox has it the worst out of all of them and I get a lot of screen lag on mine. A newer Xbox has a chance to not do this as much but there is no guarantee. Don’t buy a new Xbox because of this but if you are at a friends try to see the motion blur on his Xbox. I will have to look to see if i can see the motion blur when i am on my Xbox next.
My Xbox is not as old as yours and I can see that on every Xbox with other games too.
For example with all the assassins creed games.
When I see that I assassinate in those moments and this shoots me out of the map up in the sky and he flies up forever till I restart the game.
When I use that in Halo I can for example do that in forge well.
I can use the cannon men to make the mongoose stand on the head and be stuck on the sealing till I remove a part.
i feel bad to try that in multiplayer but ones in a while I give it a try.
It´s like a wave you hop on and when you stand on it and dont fall down they can´t hit you ever.
If you see it in other games its a hardware issue. Could be your TV or video connection.
So every PC, Xbox and other device I use no matter if from me or someone else no matter what country I am at is faulty?
Ma n I doubt that but okay.
I show this to people and they say “What the…do that again”
So I do but that don´t solve my problem.
Thought I find nerds here that have MAYBE the same problem.
Guess not
