Those weren’t in the books.

So, again let’s say that those two creatures are going to be in Halo 4… But, they weren’t in the books… Now I’m really courious about who we are fighting.

Because if these creatures were a faction of the Precursors or the Forerunners one would think they would have been mentioned in the books…

The third novel from Greg Bear isn’t out yet and as far as I know there is no release date. My theory is that there will be info in it that pertains to some of the more secretive elements of H4. It’ll probably release around Nov. 6th.

i doubt the precursors are the enemy, If i had to bet money on which we will be fighting I would have to say the forerunners. you have to remember that the forerunners hate humans, they have had a war with them way back when. Since requiem is a forerunner dyson sphere i would guess that it is the forerunners. Remember that halo 4 is about the chief fighting a ancient enemy, so this practically eludes to the enemy being forerunners(Or maybe something new, who knows).

Well I thought the Precursors liked the Humans right?

Or am I wrong?

Thank you all for the answers. I guess we’ll have to wait untill E3 to know for 100% who were fighting. Either way I’m excited and can’t wait to get to play the campaign. Thanks again.

Got to get back to work. Lunch over.
