I returned my game back to Microsoft a few weeks after launch, I have checked every couple weeks for the latest news on updates but I didn’t see anything about rank. Is there ranking back in the game? I see people still saying there is unstable conditions. Should I go ahead and pick it back up for around $40 used? Or wait? What would you do based on the current status with the game? Thanks guys.
I would wait, it is still too unstable and there is only one ranked playlist.

Thanks for letting me know. I will wait then. I really don’t get much out of the game without the competitive play of the ranking system.
You should keep an eye or this week to see if this weeks patch does a good amount of fixing. Other than that, you should a little bit longer for 343 to get things running smoothly.

Definitely wait… This week they might be fixing most if not all of the issues.
But definitely check the forums later in the week/early next week before you do decide to re-buy

i’m not trying to be negative, i REALLY want this game to work… but the day 1 patch was supposed to fix most, if not all problems… here we are 2 months later, with very little progress… MM times have reduced significantly for me, but still almost impossible to play with a party…

Oh, i agree 100% lol… Im just at the point in the cycle were i’m hopeful again…
The cycle goes: disappointed, frustrated, angry, patient, skeptical, skepticism confirmed, hopeful
currently they are going with a piece meal approach, kind of like battlefield 4 when that was utterly broken at launch. i think it will be another month or two for it to be functioning to a nearly full satisfactory state and they can consider actually adding new things to match making (other than the stuff they pulled day one because those playlist broke hard).
