I wanted to ask, I understand some who have played Spartan Assault will receive a “bonus” skin and stance like this:
Champion Bundle - Spartan Assault Bonus
Now the question is, for those who have NOT played Spartan Assault, will this bonus stance and skin be available to everyone later in time, like two weeks after Champion Bundle release, or do we have to play Spartan Assault in order to obtain that bonus?
For some reason my first post won’t let me edit, but in addition to that, for those who have not played Spartan Assault and the bonus doesn’t get released to the public, is it possible to obtain it in any other way?
I don’t think anyone knows at this point.
Likelihood is that the only things that will be available to non-DLC owners after two weeks are the Ricochet gametype and the third armor mod, because those are the only two things they 343i has said will be available and because those are the only two things that are non-cosmetic.

uh-oh. If that’s true, then the Champ bundle plus SA bonus skin would be like another DLC that would be impossible to get, like the Pre-Order bonuses. Hopefully they’re released later.

Not at all. Champions Bundle + Spartan Assault = $17. You can get it whenever you want, and for a lot less than other armor codes on eBay.

True…cuz what hit me was the Bonus Stance and DMR Skin awarded from SA and not too sure how many players actually play SA, that’s the thing, lol.

Why should it be? It’s meant to be exclusive to those who purchased Spartan Assault.

I assume you’re meaning the pre-order bonuses dilemma? If so, I agree, that sucked and there shouldn’t be that many pre-order bonuses for different stores.
But for something like this, which everyone can access easily without needing to buy seven copies of the game, there isn’t any need to make it available in another way.

Exactly, b/c if you think about it, how many people out there do you think have a Windows 8 and have SA. IMO, there not too many, from what i see although i really can’t say. That’s like going back to square 1 with the Pre-Order issue, lol.
I’m not getting Windows 8 because I see no reason to downgrade from Windows 7.

Two entirely different situations. Nobody wanted to buy seven different copies of the game (and even import copies over from other countries) compared to simply owning Spartan Assault, which only requires an Operating System which is going to be available for years to come. This is ONE piece of exclusive content compared to the many that pre-orderes had.

Your right about that. Hopefully in time we get it, but im just afraid that once the bonus content from SA is released, im afraid it’ll disappear like the Blue Flame AE. Then again, the bonus content is “exclusive” and it would ruin its purpose if it were released to the public. Let’s just wait and see what 343 thinks.
I am wondering if you have to pre-order the Halo: Champions Bundle to unlock all of the included Stances. I have heard from some that it’s okay if you don’t pre-order, but you have to purchase the Bundle within the first 2 weeks to get the Stances. Can anyone confirm?
Also, can someone tell me if/what are the pre-order bonuses for the Bundle?

Pre-order the Champion Bundle? I never heard about that. However, from what i know, if you get the Champion Bundle on 8/20, you obviously get everything, in the bundle. if you do not get the bundle, i think after two weeks you only get the Two maps and Ricochet Playlist. I’m not really sure though. That you have to ask 343.

Pretty sure Gamestop has had preorders on Halo DLC before, the Noble map pack in Reach stands out in my mind.
