I think it is because Spark is a Forerunner creation (with ancient Human essence), and because the Forerunners made him what he is he would most likely see Humans and San’Shyuum as evil no matter what. The Forerunners despised both species so it is safe to assume they would bran them “manipulators”, “barbarians” and other things.
