I’m surprised I haven’t seen anything in this yet - I have a few questions about it that I would love to hear the community’s response…
Do we think it is a remix?
If it is a remix, of what map? — (can someone link an image please?? I’m at work, but I think the one from a Sprint video with a map that has a lava stream…)
Are you more excited for that or the new warzone map? (not counting prospect)
If it is a remix, are you ok with that? Not ok with it? Not ok with it but just excited to have a little more variety in arena?
Personally, I’m torn about it - I hate everything about 343i remixing maps instead of original designs, and overgrowth and riptide I think are maybe the 2 worst maps ever in gaming. That said, Stasis is a great map, one of the very few I think are actually well done and I am absolutely desperate for some variety in matchmaking! I’m about 70-30 arena and warzone, and I was bummed that one of my other favorites, Tyrant, was removed from arena… Would love to know what you think! Personally, I think this is that map they showed in the Sprint a long time ago that everyone thought was a coliseum remix… I hope it’s not that because Coliseum is the other map that I really like haha. Prospect is only for warzone assault because it’s a Darkstar remix.
Ah sorry yes it was the rig… Still tho, are you all excited about it? The rig isn’t my favorite but idk why it would need a remix. If 343 has to put in remixes why not do their own version of turf and remake it like Truth/midship. Or guardian. Or narrows. Or any other great map from a proven competitive game.
Im annoyed but I am still looking forward to having another map, I hope it’s not a flop and they actually keep it in team arena whatever it turns out to be, that’s the bottom line

Yes they would, that’s why I said they should remix and not remake those maps 1:1 exactly as they were. Truth plays differently than midship and is a different scale, and it’s one of the better maps IMO because it benefits from being based on a proven competitive map. Also, on my file share I have a Narrows remake and a High Citadel one - I think they are 1:1 and I’ve played a number of FFA and 2v2, 4v4 customs in them - they feel great and work well with Spartan abilities (ground pounding from the big lifts in narrows to top mid is AWESOME, slide jumping on high citadel is a great tactic). So, might not play the same but I’m not certain that’s a bad thing, and they CANT be as bad as overgrowth if they tried.
Bottom line, I’m looking forward to a new map because 90% of my posts here are about gametypes and maps needing variety. Won’t be happy if it’s a remix but I’ll play the -Yoink- out of it either way. Stasis restored a little faith that they can make decent maps if they try, so it might surprise me (I surely hope so)
