Question regarding multiplayer flights

I know that Halo games generally require an XBOX LIVE GOLD account in order to play online with other players. My question is, will this be true of multiplayer flights, and MCC on PC as a whole?

Okay, thanks for the answer. I was worried, as I don’t currently have a Gold membership, and I don’t want to have to pay for one to play online.
