I love the idea of players being able to join games that otherwise would have been ruined because of the quitters.
My question is: Will I be able to choose if I want to search for games already started (Join-In-Progress) and also search for new games? Or will I automatically be placed in either when I search MatchMaking?
If the placement is automatic, it would ruin a big part of Halo for me.
I’m not sure, actually. I do hope its an option. A preference maybe, enabling or disabling automatic join in progress.
You can choose to join in progress or not. I believe, but don’t quote me on this, when you try the join-in-progress option, it brings up a list of games to join.

I haven’t heard or seen anything as specific as an option like that. But I’m sure they have devised a way to make it work. We already know that you won’t join a game that is almost over. So that right there is a plus.
