Question regarding Guardians? (Spoilers)

So is Cortana physically controlling the guardians like a physical body, or is she just directing them like the Promethians?

In the final mission I thought it was odd that her voice starts off normal them goes all loud and “reaperish” for want of a better word. Wasn’t sure if that’s because she was speaking through the guardians.

Also I noticed little touches like the guardian having blue eyes and it having a habit of looking down and following you as Chief or Locke. Which is really creepy but I took this to mean that her consciousness is inside the guardians.

I don’t see why she couldn’t control them.
The Guardian “sky scraper” fall Buck notes “it’s trying to shake us off!”. I can see Cortana going “Not you again! Get off my Guardian!”
And then she plays Taylor swift on loud speakers. Shake it off. Shake it off. See what I did there?

See I got confused as to how much actual control Cortana has. Particularly regarding te Promethians. Does the Warden control all the constructs or just a few?

There is something mildly amusing about the first physical body Cortana gets being a reaper.

Directing them as prometheans can be “controlled”.

She does, however, now have a physical/AI body. Mainly physical, but she can access AI systems and the forerunner teleportation grid.

Robotic, but with AI controlled systems like a ship.

They’re essentially, HIGHLY advanced Sentinels. Drones if you will.
