Hey I’m a PC user and just got access to the H3 Flight.
I noticed Forge is available so I opened it to check my custom maps I made when I was younger to notice they weren’t visible. Since the days of H3 I had changed my gamertag and from what I read online, this means that I can’t access my old file share content? I’m wondering if I were to change my gamertag back to the previous one I used, would my content be available or has 343 wiped it by then? This was pretty upsetting news to hear for me as I spent a lot of time in Forge back then and changed my gamertag unknowingly when Reach released on PC for flights initially. Thanks!
Hey OP. While Forge is accessible, File Share is not enabled in flighting (though that can change). Saying that, unless you made sure to have your file share ready last year when 343 did their one-time content transfer, nothing from legacy Halo games transfers over to MCC. Most of the well known content was brought over by others though, so that will be accessible in File shares once Halo 3 gets released to retail
