I had some xbox points sitting around doing not much so I spent 2000 on the Crimson Map Pack. I got a 108kb download lol and just got a new helmet and some new emblems. No maps though. I panicked. Then a quick Google tells me Crimson Pack isn’t out til December. No worries. So I guess I’ll get it when it’s released seeing as I’ve paid for it??? :S
Personally, I think stuff should only go on sale when it’s actually ready for release. But that’s just me

You bought the season pass which is good so you will be getting the 3 map packs for free when they come out.
It’s not just the Crimson map pack. It’s the War Games Map Pass. When you buy the War Games Map Pass, you have bought all 3 soon to release map pack DLC for one low price. Buying all of 3 map packs separately will cost you 2400 Microsoft points. With the Map Pass, you can get all of them for only 2000 Microsoft points.
Not only do you get the Crimson Map Pack, but you will also get the rest of them instantly when they release. Because you pretty much paid for all of them for 2000 instead of the 2400 that they cost when separate.
Sounds like a good deal doesn’t it?
Just to let you know, you bought the Season Pass which let’s you “pre-order” the first 3 map packs for a discounted price.
You’re saving money in advance, I don’t see what the big deal is…
Oh that’s OK then. The info on the download isn’t clear! Yeah I’m pleased that’s the next 3 DLC packs covered. Works kind of like Battlefield 3 Premium I guess. So when in December is the first maps???
