I’ve herd that the BR supposedly turned into a sort of 1 shot weapon (DMR like) when scooped. Did I hear wrong or is this true?
It was that way in the Demo video that I remember, but they changed it to a three shot.
In the E3 2003 demo it was semi-automatic when scoped, and the 3-shot burst we’re accustomed to when it wasn’t.

That would have been great then.
I’m assuming while single shot, it would have considerably less spread?

Apparently in the Halo 2 Beta it was much more “accurate” when scoped in, that’s what I’ve heard from other people anyway.
Hard to believe when the H2 BR in the full product was probably the most accurate weapon in the series.
I’m guessing like the Carbine with less recoil.
