Hello,
Just spent the evening playing some games on Reach on PC. Now, understandably talking bad gets thrown both ways in the text chat since that’s kind of the nature of Halo. But tonight was especially bad as we ran into a group of players frequently using homophobic and racial slurs in a negative connotation throughout two matches. I’ve discovered a way to report players through the Xbox Console Companion by looking up their Xbox names.
But my question is, what is preventing them from just making a new Xbox account and circumventing their bans? You do not have to pay for Xbox Live on the PC environment, and there is no way to look up what their Steam account to report them through Steam. So can they just never be banned or face punishment for their actions? Banter between the teams is okay, but once you encounter players just outright saying terrible things muting them can only go far since they will just continue into their next game.
Thanks
