QUESTION ON HALO LIMITED COLLECTOR'S EDITION

Hey everyone I have been so confused on this topic and I need some fellow Spartans to help me out on! I got the Halo 5 Guardians Limited Collector’s Edition and I don’t really know If I should get the digital copy or the physical copy. Also if I get either one, when do I actually pick up my items I get with the LCE from GameStop (Statue, REQ Pack, etc.)?

I personally am sticking with digital as the main reason I buy physical is to have the case for my wall of games/ collection. in an ideal world I could get the case all the physical goodies and not have to worry about swapping disks in and out for every game I buy. I would gladly buy a game case with a code in it like World of Warcraft for example. Halo being my favorite game series of all time… halo 5 and Mcc will always be something I will be playing for the entirety of this generation so being able to easily launch it at any time is great. its also great if you have game share. Down the road I could always buy a disk used from a gamestop or something as most past halo titles are under 20$ used and i will already have the steelbook to put it in.

as far as your second question goes you should receive all the physical stuff and digital codes on the 20th, or sometime near that date. once you get it you can pre-load the game on your system to make sure its ready to go at 12 EST. make sure instant-on is enabled on your box so the day one patch will be applied to the game before 12 EST so there is no hiccups on launch day.

I do have one question though, does anyone know if the fall of reach animated series will be able to be watched as soon as the LCE content arrives on the 20th?

If you are getting the Limited Collectors Edition you getting the giant box of everything on the 20th. If you you preordered at a retailer you can go pick it up that day. As for the digital or physical question, that’s completely up to you. If you game share with anybody then go digital. If you prefer a disc then you have to wait a few days Microsoft support to ship you a new disc. I game share with my brother so I’m going digital and I don’t have enough room for more game cases.
