when assassination returning? its been a year since youtubers talked about it so im wondering when its returning?

It’s more than likely not happening we’re just stuck with H3 Basics of back smacking the enemy man these knife attachments look cool, hmmm I wish I could use them for assassinations like in Halo Reach, Halo 4 and Halo 5, oh too bad their just for show.

When they find Noble Six in the cave and teach us again the way of the assassinations.
Seriously, I was just thinking about it today from a gameplay standpoint, would be cool to see it again.
I have noticed in the Infinite Run Tag Viewer some flags related to assassinations, so I imagine they will do something about it in the future, but I doubt it’s among their top priorities.

Probably season 7. This is extremely difficult for them to program into the game and could take years of hard work

No set date for assassinations to return other than they wouldn’t launch with the game. Here we are a year later with a multitude of broken items. I honestly couldn’t even give you a year that we’d see them in game.
I do miss them. Of course when they do return they’ll be sold in the shop.

I would really like for assassinations to come back of course. I think they didn’t come because of work constraints which is fair but still unfortunate. And there really isn’t an argument for them impacting gameplay as for example in Halo 5 you can turn them off.
But on that note they’re totally never coming to Infinite. As much as we’d love for them too it’ll never happen.

I believe they stated they want them in, but they’re clearly prioritizing stuff that is far more important for the longevity of the game over assassinations. You’re going to have to wait for them if you want them.
For me, I could careless… They would get me killed most of the time. I’ll stick to simple back taps so I can move on from them faster.
If Bungie could do it 10+ years ago, then 343 could most likely do it better and faster with today’s technology.
